Your work is amazing. Would love to have a brown dun Fjord done. Even just the head and neck showing off the mane. Don't have two nickels to rub together right now, but if you are able, perhaps sometime? You can see a brown dun if you look at my profile. He is the bigger one with the black stripe down the center of the mane.

Thank you for your kind comments! I really enjoyed browsing through your photos and drawings- they're right up my alley. Sven looks like he was having a great day in that photo! I'd be happy to make a needle felted sculpture of him. Usually, I charge around $125 for custom felts- that would be for his whole body felted onto a wire armature, so he'd be poseable. Here's a link to my Etsy shop if you'd like to learn more about my custom pet portraits: [link]. We can work out the details if and when you're interested. Have a great day!

Hey there! Where do you get your wool? I needle-felt too and am trying to find places that offer more subtle browns, buffs, fur colors and stuff, which it looks like you use. The place I normally get roving from is great, but they have a really limited selection of browns.

Hi! I get a lot of batts from Living Felt:

They even have packs of various shades of browns and greys. A very great company!

Thank you! I've gotten wool from there before, and forgot the name... I've been going with Peace Fleece lately, because I love their co-op idea, but the two browns they offer only go so far. ;) This is a big help!

I like peace fleece too. Another good one (and cheaper than living felt) are these guys, Weir Crafts:

Hope this helps. I love your catepillars, by the way! I'm a big biology dork :)
